ALF Core Training Course
Administrator Certification
The assisted living facility core training requirements are established by the department of Elder Affairs pursuant to Section 429.52, F.S., this training consist of a minimum of 26 hours of training plus a competency test.
Upon successful completion of this course, the leaner will be eligible to take the core competency test though the MacDonald Research Institute (https://alfmacdonald-research.com/registration.html) . The test contains 100 multiple-choice questions with four possible choices. Examinees have a total of 2 hours to complete the test. The passing score is 75%.
